1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Karrivo ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you") and Karrivo ("we," "us," "our") under the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
You must be at least 18 years of age and capable of entering into a legally binding contract under Indian law to use this Service.
2. Description of Service
Karrivo provides an AI-powered job matching platform that:
- Parses and analyses uploaded resume documents
- Matches your profile against job listings from third-party APIs
- Provides ATS compatibility scores and job recommendations
- Operates on a credit-based payment model (no subscription required)
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee employment outcomes or specific job matches.
3. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
- You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account
- One person may not maintain more than one account
- Accounts created using automated means are prohibited
4. Permitted Use
You agree to use Karrivo only for lawful purposes. You agree NOT to:
- Upload resumes belonging to other individuals without their consent
- Upload false, misleading, or fabricated resume content
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or copy our AI matching system
- Use the Service to harvest job listings for commercial resale
- Attempt to circumvent our credit system or payment requirements
- Upload malicious files, viruses, or harmful code
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable Indian law, including the IT Act 2000
5. Credits, Payments & Refunds
5.1 Credit-based model
Karrivo operates on a prepaid credit system. Credits are purchased and consumed per search. Credits do not expire for 6 months from the date of purchase.
5.2 Pricing
Current pricing is displayed on our Pricing page. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
5.3 Payment processing
All payments are processed by Razorpay. By making a purchase, you agree to Razorpay's terms of service. We support UPI, credit/debit cards, and net banking.
5.4 GST
All prices displayed are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) as applicable under Indian law.
5.5 Refund policy
Credits are non-refundable once a search has been successfully completed and results have been delivered.
If a search fails due to a technical error on our end, we will refund the credit consumed. To request a refund for a failed search, contact support@karrivo.com within 7 days.
We do not offer refunds for:
- Dissatisfaction with job matches (as matches depend on market availability)
- Credits purchased in error
- Credits remaining in your account upon account deletion
6. Intellectual Property
- Karrivo's platform, design, AI systems, and branding are our exclusive property
- Your resume content remains your intellectual property
- By uploading your resume, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to process it solely for the purpose of providing our Service
- This licence terminates when you delete your resume or your account
7. Third-Party Services
Our Service integrates with third-party services including Anthropic, Adzuna, JSearch, and Razorpay. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of third-party job listings. Job listings are sourced from third-party APIs and may contain errors or become unavailable.
8. Disclaimers
- We do not guarantee that using Karrivo will result in job interviews or employment
- ATS scores are estimates based on AI analysis and may not reflect actual employer decisions
- Job listing availability and accuracy depend on third-party data providers
- The Service may be unavailable during maintenance periods
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE INDIAN LAW.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Karrivo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to Karrivo in the 3 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page.
Upon termination:
- Your access to the Service ends immediately
- Unused credits are forfeited (no refund)
- Your data will be deleted per our Privacy Policy retention schedule
11. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
Before initiating legal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us at legal@karrivo.com to resolve the dispute amicably.
12. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
